Campers learn from some of the top architectural science students at Ryerson, and participate in innovative and engaging team and individual exercises.
Each week features a distinct take-home project that campers work on. Projects planned for this Summer include:
July 30 – August 2
Architectural Design in Virtual Reality w/ Laser Cut VR sets & Inflatable Buildings
August 7 – August 10
Augmented Reality in Architecture & Laser Cut Light
August 13 – August 17
3D Printing Accessories & CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Chair
Each camper gets to keep their projects at the end of their camp week.
Campers also participate in other team building activities that challenge them to use their architectural skills.
This program features time for recreational activities, including use of the Recreation and Athletic Centre gyms, studios, and other spaces.
The Architectural Science Day Camp program curriculum is developed by Dr. Vince Hui, who is a past recipient of the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations Teacher Award.
