Mike StewartCamp CoordinatorMike has over 25 years of summer camp experience and provides day-to-day leadership to the Camp program. Mike is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Bachelor of Education) and Trent University (Bachelor of Arts). For six years, he served as Co-Director at Camp Wenonah (Muskoka, ON) where he provided leadership to both the summer camp and outdoor education programs. He also worked as a leadership director, counsellor, and one-on-one support worker for children with special needs at Camp Couchiching (Orillia, ON). More recently, Mike was Program Manager with Amici Camping Charity, an organization that helps send underprivileged children to summer camp. Mike has presented on camp program, leadership, team building, and marketing at various conference across Ontario, and also at the 8th International Camping Congress. Mike sits as a Director on the Board of the Ontario Camps Association, and is an active volunteer with the Canadian Camping Association. In recognition of his volunteer work and professional experience in the field of children’s camping, he has received the Jack Pearse Award of Honour from the Canadian Camping Association, the Ron & Mickey Johnstone Youth Leadership Award (OCA), Volunteer Recognition Award (CCA), and Award of Merit (International Camping Fellowship).

Chris WilhelmSeasonal Camp CoordinatorChris is a graduate of McGill University, where he earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Education and Music. He has spent the past two years working as an elementary music teacher at three different schools in the Montreal area. This will be Chris’ third summer working for Ryerson Summer Day Camps, and his first summer in the position of Seasonal Camp Coordinator. Additionally, Chris has four summers’ worth of experience working as a counselor at McGill Sports Camp in Montreal, and Camp Valaqua in Water Valley, AB.
