Unrivaled in scope and impact, the annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences is the convergence of over 70 scholarly associations, each holding their annual conference under one umbrella. Now in its 86th year, this flagship event is much more than Canada’s largest gathering of scholars.
Ryerson Summer Day Camps is pleased to host a special Day Camp program for 6 – 12 year olds exclusive to the children of Congress 2017 attendees.
Ryerson Athletics welcomes children to a day camp program that is renowned for its high‐quality instruction and experienced, caring camp staff.
Our veteran staff team includes teachers, University students, and recreation professionals. We are an accredited member of the Ontario Camps Association.
Hosted at Ryerson’s acclaimed and centrally located Recreation & Athletic Centre, our day camp offers almost limitless options to campers: sport, recreation, creative, and other classic day camp activities.

Regular – $60 per day
Fees include lunch and morning and afternoon snacks

8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Congress attendees who require child care services must register their children before May 12, 2017.
Drop-in child care services are not available during Congress 2017.
In mid-May, registered families will be emailed with further information, including drop off times and locations.
Please note that attendees are required to remain on campus while their children are being minded.
Child Minding services for 0 – 5 year olds are available through the Ryerson Early Learning Centre and the Gerrard Resource Centre.
